Associate Director of Graduate and ADP Admissions

Job Purpose

Admissions/Enrollment team, supervise ADP Enrollment Counselors, and to recruit students at George Fox University, advising/counseling them from initial inquiry through graduation

Job Impact

This position will supervise three other enrollment counselors, and have the autonomy to provide strategic direction to the recruiting, admissions, and advising of ADP students.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise and evaluate ADP Enrollment Counselors. Build and maintain a teamwork-oriented atmosphere. Provide professional development opportunities for ADP staff.
  • Provide oversight of sales and support materials for ADP Admissions team, working closely with the Marketing Department for design and content support.
  • . Coordinate sales efforts across ADP counselors to ensure recruiting success; focusing on selling techniques, sales training, and recruitment evaluation.
  • Recruit new ADP students and organize and manage admissions portion of Adult Degree Program new-student orientations.
  • Regularly provide academic advising for ADP students regarding remaining hours needed for completion of their degrees and alternative scenarios to accomplish completion; deliver professional/academic advising to assist students in setting and achieving personal and educational goals
  • Recommend policy and procedural changes to the Director of Grad

Associated Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Graduate and ADP Admissions with hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating Admissions Counselors and s
  • Coordinate ADP admissions/enrollment team efforts to insure operation of unit achieves university goals.
  • Administer curricular requirements and advise students regarding requirements remaining for admission; review and evaluate application credentials to determine student admissibility.
  • Represent the University as an exhibitor at career fairs, professional conferences and trade shows. Travel as necessary on behalf of the university to foster community, business and educational connections.

  • Advising ADP students from enrollment to Graduation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-4 years' Experience
  • Full Time Position Monday Friday 8am-5pm
