Director of Graduate, ADP, and International Admissions

Purpose for the Position: The Director of Graduate, Adult Degree Programs (ADP), and International
Admissions is responsible for bringing cohesion and excellence to the Admissions department. In order to
reach university enrollment and revenue goals, this position will provide strategic leadership and
management aimed at enrolling new graduate, adult degree, and international students. The Director is
responsible for recommending and maintaining admissions policies, processes, and practices of graduate
programs while placing an emphasis on student service.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Manage, motivate, and coach Graduate, ADP, and International Admission staffs to achieve the
objectives of the university. This includes hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
2. Provide leadership development for associate and assistant directors.
3. Facilitate development, implementation and assessment of recruitment plans and budgets for each
program in coordination with the Vice President, Associate/Assistant Directors, Admission Counselors,
academic Program Directors, academic deans, and the marketing/communications office. This includes
enrollment and revenue projections for both the short and long-term term. Manage budgets for graduate
& ADP admissions.
4. Track graduate, ADP, and international enrollment trends and communicate them in a timely, efficient
and accurate manner to various constituents.
5. Collaborate with Department of Professional Studies (DPS) Program Director, DPS Operations Manager,
and Registrar's Office to ensure success and vitality of our adult degree programs (includes major
offerings, registration, retention, and graduation efforts.
6. Collaborate and coordinate with the Admissions Operations team to ensure quality and integrity of data,
processes and reports for Graduate, ADP, and International Admissions.
7. Collaborate with marketing team and others to develop compelling content for recruitment
communications, website, print publications, advertising, etc.
8. Be an active member of the overall enrollment and retention efforts of the University, specifically
contributing to Enrollment and Marketing team meetings.
9. By actions, words and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or
in a formal supervisory role.
10. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree & graduate degree required.
2. Eight years of professional experience in higher education admissions/marketing or related field required.
3. Five years of successful management/supervision experience.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
5. Ability to work independently with high level of initiative.
6. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with a wide variety of people.
7. Strong customer service orientation and understanding of needs of graduate students.
8. Ability and willingness to travel on occasional or regular basis, including Oregon driver's license.
9. An evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the institution's goals, including
signed agreement with GFU Statement of Faith and Statement of Community Responsibilities.
