Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Job Purpose

Oversee the administration and strategic direction of Undergraduate Admissions Office. Specifically, direct and coach staff to meet the specified enrollment goals of the university, and move George Fox University toward accomplishing the vision of becoming the Christian university of choice.
Develop and implement recruitment and marketing plans, publications and advertising campaigns, and financial aid strategies that compel students to join the formative George Fox experience. Prepare and manage the departments' budgets. Develop and implement strategies, in collaboration
with academic departments, administrators, and other constituents to target new and emerging populations to expand the reach and enrollment of George Fox University. Work collaboratively with the Enrollment and Marketing team to build and maintain a strong student community, while
enhancing service to prospective students, currently enrolled students, their parents, and members of the University community.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a recruitment plan as developed for the Undergraduate Admissions staff
• Recruit students in line with the University goals and net revenue targets
• Set vision and goals for visits, events, and engagement of prospective students

Associated Responsibilities

• Select, train and evaluate the management level staff. Coordinate and assist in the selection, training and evaluation of their teams as well.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the Undergraduate Admission Office.

Assigned Processes

• Make recommendations to the VP of Enrollment and Marketing regarding admission policies and procedures and contribute to the overall development of effective enrollment strategies
• Develop plans and strategies for effective working relationships with other college departments, both administrative and academic.
• Conduct and produce monthly and annual reports to help inform decision making about future recruitment

Minimum Requirements

• 1-2 years experience
• Bachelors Degree
