Enrollment Strategist

Job Purpose

Our Enrollment Strategist will work directly with the Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing/Chief Brand Officer to help view the world through the eyes of the customer and deliver high-value enrollment and brand strategies to improve enrollment and marketing outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on investigating how our brand meets the needs of our prospective and current students and then designing and delivering big-picture, cross-departmental enrollment-enhancing strategies. This position will collaborate directly with Admissions and Marketing Communication to pursue the university vision.

Job Summary

Enrollment growth is dynamically connected with how our current and prospective students experience our brand. Making George Fox University the Christian University of choice requires a dynamic, independent, and high-performing Enrollment Strategist with an ability to get things done in collaboration with people and teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about the George Fox mission, is able to change organizational behavior, has a history of innovative thinking, and is capable of coming up with multiple ways to solve complex problems. This person will be key in contributing to increased enrollments by helping George Fox live and grow its unique brand.

Essential Responsibilities

• Become immersed in the student body -- learning and understanding student behavior and perception to ensure our enrollment and branding strategies resonate with our target audiences.
• Connect with key faculty, deans, and staff to understand the unique selling opportunities of our academic offerings, co-curricular programs, and facilities to increase enrollment-building opportunities.
• Collaborate with creative and functional teams across Enrollment & Marketing, and the broader university, to ensure execution of enrollment & brand strategies.
• Write creative briefs for new brand & enrollment campaigns that include strategy, positioning, messaging, and creative inspiration.
• Map out and suggest improvements to the quantity and quality of our brand touchpoints with prospective and current students.

Associated Responsibilities

• Lead on-campus efforts to develop a personal "signature story" for every George Fox employee to use in conversations with prospective students and parents.
• Tell our unique story to external audiences via strategic media pitches.
• Be an active member of the overall enrollment and retention efforts of the University, specifically contributing to the Enrollment & Marketing Leadership Team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience required
• Full time position, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
• Expertise working with diverse students and employees
