HVAC Technician I

Essential Responsibilities

1. Maintain all types of residential and commercial HVAC systems to include filters, grease bearings, check and replace belts, clean coils, check sump pumps around campus, check condensate pumps and neutralizers, check and clean drain lines and pans, clean duct work, dryer vents, and bath fans
2. Process all necessary paperwork
3. Create a maintenance schedule for all buildings to get all units on campus into a quarterly, Semiannually and annual rotation
4. Work with supervisor to get all maintenance schedules into TMA Maintenance system
5. Fill in for other HVAC technicians when that are out or as requested by superintendent
6. Supervise and train work study students
7. Work with other technicians when time allows for cross training
8. All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

1. Two years' experience working with residential and commercial HVAC equipment
2. Working knowledge of mechanical systems and what maintenance needs to be accomplished
