Temporary Staff - Undergrad Admissions office

Job Purpose

This important position is responsible for the daily entry and maintenance of prospective student database records and applications. The primary function of this position is to execute our back-end processes with a goal to provide prospective students with a second-to-none admissions experience. We are looking for an employee with a demonstrated ability to maintain excellent records in a database, produce results with maximum accuracy and efficiency, and work within a collaborative team environment.

The ability to understand systems and processes will help maximize the effectiveness of our responses to new inquiries, applicants, and admitted students. Precision and very high attention to detail will ensure that students receive accurate information regarding their admission status. Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure data is accurately entered into PeopleSoft from inquiry through enrollment
• Organize pieces of application recommendations, transcripts, test scores
• Manage electronic student files and corresponding database in PeopleSoft
• Update student accounts with new information (scores, grades, personal info)
• Validate data utilizing various queries

Associated Responsibilities

• Mail Runs - includes trips to mailroom, deliveries to other offices, processing mail
• Outgoing mail - stuffing & labeling
• Front Desk coverage
• Other tasks/projects as assigned

Assigned Processes

• Application and inquiry processing
• Transcript entry into PeopleSoft

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or equivalent training
• Full time position, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
• Expertise working with diverse students and employees
